The Name

"Manducat" is Latin for  "he/she/it chews." The inspiration for this shop name came from the words, "manducat Dominum," (often translated as "he consumes the Lord," or some other more mild verbage) from the beautiful song, Panis Angelicus. This word, with its Catholic connotation and literal translation, seems appropriate for teething rosaries and Catholic teething toys.
